The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED; College degree preferred 2
years of customer service experience in a hotel or restaurant preferredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task, work independently, and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and accuracy is a must! Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptionsAble to work under pressure and meet deadlines; professional at all times
Responsibilities:
Greet and check guests in at the front desk; assist guests with their rooms; provide information about hotel amenities; provide tours of the hotel if requested; provide personalized service to guests; provide directions if asked for information about the hotel or area; provide accurate and complete information to guests; answer all types of questions about the hotel; provide tours if requested.
Manage front desk requests, reservations, and reservations requests.
(Reserve rooms, stay accommodations, book rooms for groups, book flights, etc.
) Open and close the front office during scheduled shifts.
(Open or close when scheduled shift ends).
Maintain cleanliness of front desk area.
(Wash floors, open closets, sweep floors, etc.
) Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
(No nights or weekends on holidays.
